Hi,

Maybe some of you have read the recent phoronix benchmarks [1]. I have
to say that I do take all kinds of benchmarks with a grain of salt,
however I am still somewhat baffled how bad FreeBSD compared in the zstd
benchmark.

The test was done with zstd where FreeBSD ships with version 1.4.8, but
Ubuntu 21.10 used the same version.

Should this be an issue some of the FreeBSD devs should have a look at?
And does that also affect ZFS using zstd compression?

Regards,

Robert
