You should either build WITHOUT_LIBEV (this is the default), or - if you must build with that option - try the attached CONFIGURE_ARGS hack[1]. I am not certain that the latter is a robust solution, so perhaps mm@ can chime in with a more structural fix. I've also copied the devel/libev maintainer as this problem may be related to how lighttpd interacts with the new libev version.
