Have you tried "sysctl -a | grep ltmdm" ? You should get something like this if the kernel object is loaded. hw.ltmdm.pci_vendor_id: 0 hw.ltmdm.pci_device_id: 0 hw.ltmdm.intr: INTR_TYPE_NET hw.ltmdm.swi: SWI_TTY hw.ltmdm.device_desc: Look at dmesg or /var/log/console for the stuff described in the documentation.
