My DVD drive is on the secondary slave IDE, which defaults to PIO1. To get DVDs to play right, I have to run "atacontrol mode 1 slave udma33". It loses this setting after reboots, though. What's the best way to set it to do that automatically at boot? Does it correspond with a sysctl variable? This is 4.6.2-RELEASE. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kim Scarborough http://www.unknown.nu/kim/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Behind every successful man stands a surprised mother-in-law." - Hubert Humphrey ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
