Please test before committing. Sorry. No need to repeat yourself. This commit has been tested locally for weeks, except for the last step of merging the CVS tag from the file it tracks. This has to be done after the other file is checked in, much like syscalls.c vs. syscalls.master, and I fat-fingered it. obrien solved the problem by removing the offending CVS tag entirely, which suits me fine.
