Now, I am running the standard generic kernel that was installed by the=20 FreeBSD 11 amd64 setup CD. The command 'locate kernel.debug' returns an=20 empty string. Does that mean I have to build a debug version of my kernel before I can=20 use kgdb ? The previous time I had a crash (in October), I filed a PR at FreeBSD=20 bugzilla, but nobody followed up. I suppose nobody can devote too many=20 resources to follow up on an isolated problem. Thanks for your help Manish Jain
