I agree with both Mark and Doug.

For the record, my point wasn't to discourage anyone from proposing =
ideas or to do good work. If the change is beneficial and helps make =
folks' lives easier, I'm sure at least one person will welcome the =
change with open arms in FreeBSD proper.
