[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi, I encounter a crucial issue when installing FreeBSD 4.2 from CDROM. The CD boots and launchs setup menu, but upon choosing media installation source, a window pops-up with a message telling me that my CDROM is not detected ! I have a IDE Sony 2x (SONY CDU77E according to Bios) and it does work perfectly under Linux (suse 7.2) and win98. CD should be ok since I used it with several computers before. I did not find any information neither in faq nor in manual nor mailing list archive. Could yo help me ?
