Firstly, this is the mailing list for FreeBSD documentation, not questions (questions@FreeBSD.org for that). Second, the documentation provided by members of this mailing list will tell you where to download FreeBSD. See http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/ for more info. There should be a section on obtaining FreeBSD and another section on how to install it. When using free UNIX's, documentation is your best friend and you won't get far without it. -Craig >From: Lorsnknu@aol.com >To: doc@freebsd.org >Subject: Were do I download BSD ? >Date: Wed, 24 Oct 2001 22:05:12 EDT >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from [216.136.204.119] by hotmail.com (3.2) with ESMTP id >MHotMailBDA0BE69007C4136E80AD888CC7756A00; Wed, 24 Oct 2001 19:05:35 -0700 >Received: from hub.freebsd.org (hub.FreeBSD.org [216.136.204.18])by >mx2.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPid 14C005585B; Wed, 24 Oct 2001 >19:05:18 -0700 (PDT)(envelope-from owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG) >Received: by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix, from userid 538)id 5E18637B403; Wed, >24 Oct 2001 19:05:18 -0700 (PDT) >Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1])by hub.freebsd.org >(Postfix) with SMTPid 53F3C2E8108; Wed, 24 Oct 2001 19:05:18 -0700 (PDT) >Received: by hub.freebsd.org (bulk_mailer v1.12); Wed, 24 Oct 2001 19:05:18 >-0700 >Received: from imo-m03.mx.aol.com (imo-m03.mx.aol.com [64.12.136.6])by >hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id B910137B401for ; >Wed, 24 Oct 2001 19:05:16 -0700 (PDT) >Received: from Lorsnknu@aol.comby imo-m03.mx.aol.com (mail_out_v31_r1.8.) >id n.8e.1d04ec29 (3980) for ; Wed, 24 Oct 2001 22:05:13 >-0400 (EDT) >From owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Wed, 24 Oct 2001 19:06:17 -0700 >Delivered-To: freebsd-doc@freebsd.org >Message-ID: <8e.1d04ec29.2908cd58@aol.com> >X-Mailer: AOL 6.0 for Windows US sub 10536 >Sender: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG >List-ID: >List-Archive: (Web Archive) >List-Help: (List Instructions) >List-Subscribe: > >List-Unsubscribe: > >X-Loop: FreeBSD.org >Precedence: bulk > >Jacques _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
