hi, exactly this is my problem.. i've read the 7.3 section of the handbook and searched also other forums and sites for this .. it seems i'm not the only one with this problem but i did not find somewhere an answer.. my lilo.conf looks like this: other=/dev/sdb1 table=/dev/sdb loader=/boot/chain.b label="FreeBSD" what is going wrong?! mfg Alexandru On 20 Jun 2003 at 22:03, Viktor Lazlo wrote: Have you followed the applicable instructions from section 7.3.1 of the handbook?
