I have ed0 interface with 193.124.76.209/255.255.255.192 parameters. When I try to add alias by calling ifconfig ed0 inet 193.124.76.210 netmask 255.255.255.192 alias (i.e. in the same subnet), then alias successfully added, but host don't recognize it, as own (for example, when I'm trying to ping this address, there isn't response). When I add routing to this address manually by route add -host 193.124.76.210 127.0.0.1 then this address works normally. FreeBSD 2.2-970911. Is this error or feature? -- Vladimir Litovka , hostmaster of vl.net.ua ======== Don't trouble trouble until trouble troubles you.
