The problem there is that it'd be best to do the symlinking when the box was in single-user, and I doubt you have console access in the situation you describe. In should be possible, depending on the box's application, to kill the daemon(s) using said folder, mv the data to /usr, create the symlink and restart the daemon(s), but it's maybe a little touchy, as I said, depending on what you're moving and how many customers it would affect, etc. HTH, Kevin Kinsey DaleCo, S.P.
