Just a side issue to the ipfw format problem. Since the firewall is enabled in rc.conf, and natd is also enabled, and the firewall script name is correct, why does the divert rule for natd not get set? I've checked rc.firewall and it's there, just like it should be, but it never gets set. The only rule that is set is the one single default rule. (type is set to 'open'.) Either the script never runs, or it doesn't realize that NATD is set YES God's Blessings, Gene To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
