AFAIK, you can use git clone --depth 1 <repository> [<directory>] to limit history to the last commit. You can compare your current tree to INDEX with git diff. Also you can use the same command to print the difference between commits, e.g. git diff master~10 master shows you changes made in the last 11 commits on master. =D0=BF=D1=82, 25 =D0=B4=D0=B5=D0=BA. 2020 =D0=B3. =D0=B2 16:56, Matthias Ap= itz <guru@unixarea.de>: > El d=C3=ADa viernes, diciembre 25, 2020 a las 04:27:40p. m. +0300, Vasily > Postnicov escribi=C3=B3: > > > > What I do not understand is the high number of objects 4249534 compar= ed > >> with > >> the number of files in /usr/src > > > > With git you clone the whole repository, not just the working tree. > > Is there an option for git to get only the current working tree to > compile it?
