All combinations I've tried for the 'ic' capability in /etc/gettytab fail. e.g. ic="" ATZ\r OK\r ic=ATZ\r OK\r ic="" ATZ OK ic=ATZ OK The result is always 'init problem on /dev/ttyR?' reported in /var/log/messages and the 'ac' capability is apparently ignored because of this. Hardware answer works ok, but seems to fail every once in a while, hence the attempt to switch to software answer. Any ideas?
