If you want all the security patches and bug fixes, then you should be tracking RELENG_4_3 (I think that's it, but check the list archives to be sure) via cvsup. If you want to track the stable development, then track RELENG_4 via cvsup. The security officers maintain a list of advisories at <URL: http://www.freebsd.org/security/index.html >.
