hello! i hope this isn't too obvious a question, but i've been having some trouble with this, so i'm hoping some people might have some insight into the matter. i've got a server that serves both DNS and mail for my domains. i want to replace this with a new server in a new facility. it's easy to set up the new server with named and all that for the new IP address(es), but i am not sure how to migrate: a. user accounts and passwords b. sendmail configuration (old server is freebsd 3.4, new is 4.3) c. i don't know to test this stuff out, because the new server is set up to be the DNS for itself, but won't a lot of programs get confused about reverse DNS mappings, etc ... ? any suggestions on a good way to do this? really DNS, user accounts with password, and, of course, mail, are all that i want to move over. any pointers would be appreciated. thanks, marc.
