Hi there, Recently, Samba has started to take about 30secs to start on system boot. Output to console says: ... SambaStarting ... The 30 (or more) second break takes place between the "Samba" and "Starting" output. What could this be?, it never used to take so long. I have recently upgraded to version samba-2.2.8a_2 on my 5.2 Release server. Is it possible that something else is causing the pause? There aren't any error messages. Thanks, Gareth _____________________________________________________________________ For super low premiums ,click here http://www.dialdirect.co.za/quote
