Even better, check the handbook--the chapter on burning CD's is very clear (imho). If I'm burning a cd I don't have to mount the device. Nor do I have to mount it to copy a CD--that is, if I'm copying a CD to the hard drive to burn it I don't mount the drive, just do the dd if=3D/dev/acd0c thingie, as explained in the handbook HTH --=20 Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 D575 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Spike: Should I really trust you?=20 Adam: Scout's honor.=20 Spike: You were a Boy Scout?=20 Adam: Parts of me. --QKdGvSO+nmPlgiQ/ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE+BrFM+lTVdes0Z9YRAm9pAKC2n7fjnc/CJB1uYDWTMxNSb3WdIgCdHRS1 7oPC6lN3Wwxl687fhWKKo5c= =gOZM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --QKdGvSO+nmPlgiQ/-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
