Pretty much a vanilla kernel and XF86Config. Mostly things are working great! However, every now and then X gets weird. The odd stuff seems to start when I'm doing things that involve a lot of `clicking the mouse'. Once the weird stuff starts, -- is the only way out. Some of the things that have happened include: * the pointer jumps toward the upper right corner. * windows act as if they got a button events. * the keyboard stops working. Or rather, it generates seemingly random characters. * the pointer starts moving in `slow motion'. Sorry I can't characterize things better; I'm still looking for the pattern to the behavior. I'm not sure what to blame. Am I seeing a bug in FreeBSD? XFree86?? Is the video card the culprit??? Any thoughts or pointers to where I should look to find better clues? tim
