One specific example, for me, is ftp.1. It seems to format ok if I give the command 'groff -mdoc -Tascii ftp.1|less' where I have copied the source ftp.1.gz file and uncomp[ressed it. The correct macro package isn't being called ... I think -man is being called. Don't know if anyone else is having this problem, if it's a problem with the man page, or the tmac macros.
