This seems to have something to do with my locale settings: ... LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8" LC_ALL= ... When I change the locale setting to C, lyx runs fine, but I want to keep my locale at UTF-8. So how can I keep UTF-8 and keep using LyX?
