These cards > are a lot less expensive than Adaptec's offerings. The Symbios chips are all supported by the ncr driver, in FreeBSD 3.* and 4.0-current. The AMD 53c974 is supported by the amd driver, but *only* in -current at the moment. If you want support in 3.2-stable, bug Justin to merge it into -stable. You might also want to try a QLogic or Advansys board.
