On FreeBSD 2.2.X, Perl4 ships with the system.  If you install Perl5, it
goes into /usr/local/bin.

You may want to move /usr/bin/perl to /usr/bin/perl4 and symlink
/usr/local/bin/perl to /usr/bin/perl.
