I have had 4.2 installed and running on this machine. When I try to upgrade to 4.4 the boot process from the installation disks stops with: Mounting root: /dev/mcd0c (I typed that from memory. I'm sure that the device starts with 'm' even though the CD drive is 'acd0') Does anyone have any suggestions what or where I should look for?
