It might be a bug but first you should try using correct netmasks. If both interfaces really are on the same network (why?) then give the second card a netmask of 0xffffffff. Otherwise give both cards the right netmask, i.e. 0xffffff80 for 2 126 host nets. Get back to us if you still have problems.
