Yes kde seems to core dumping very often, but it generally hasn't slowed 
me down.  I have it upt for hours, and have no real problems.  I never 
found out when it happens, but for me Ill speculate that it dumps when 
Im exiting.  Maybe 1 out of 3 times Ill find a kdeinit.core sitting in 
my home dir.  But all in all its ok.....
