It would seem no one here knows the answer to this question.

You'll probably get better results from
freebsd-questions@freebsd.org , which is the official list for
technical support.

(I know you've gotten some help from this list, as you would
with most lists (like -ports, etc.). But, almost always,
-questions is the place to start for technical advice.)
