This is due to a bug in p5-Net-DNS that was introduced in either version .49 or .50. I downloaded http://lnk.nu/freebsd.org/3b1.gz (go to http://lnk.nu/freebsd.org/3b2/ and hit the tarball link at the bottom) and extracted in into /usr/ports/dns and it fixed the issue. -- Jim C.
