I recommend you to check also the ICP Vortex SCSI-RAID controllers. It seems
ICP products - at least U160 - are completely compatible with FreeBSD, by
means of an unique driver.
I have bought a two-channel controller, but I'm far from finishing the
machine which will fit it.
