Similar but opposite experience here. I had an older P5 60Mhz mboard which I ran an S3ViRGE in (4M), and ran solid as rock for months straight. A few months ago I upgraded to the TYAN 1662 AT mboard, and the card started showing snow and garbage. I figured it may have something to do with bus speeds, tolerances, or something. I replaced the video with an S3 864, and that fixed it - haven't thought a wink about it for months. -yubyub@j51.com "I had to laugh like hell." - Vonnegut To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-smp" in the body of the message
