I have C-Media 8738 card installed on my motherboard. First I made "kldload /modules/snd_cmi.ko", it wrote me that it has found C-Media card, but when I tried to play some sound files I heard nothing but silence. Then I decide to build new kernel, I've inserted apopriate device in kernel config, after boot kernel recognize device as C-Media 8738, but there's still no sound. How can I fix this problem? Alex Here's dmesg with old kernel: Copyright (c) 1992-2001 The FreeBSD Project. Copyright (c) 1979, 1980, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 The Regents of the University of California.
