This to me seems rather restrictive. I don't think it should fail, but rather retry without redirecting the output to /usr/share/manx/manpage.x.tmp Currently, man dies in make_cat_file() in line 1069, and I thing a return(0) should work instead. I'll try it, and if noone has any objections, will commit the "fix".
