Which brings me to another point: Are there any known issues between FreeBSD 3.1 clients and Solaris 2.6 servers? We had no problems with FreeBSD 2.2.x, but since we switched to 3.1, we indeterministically experience extremely long NFS delays now and then. Delays in the range of a couple of minutes, that is! What kind were these NFS bugs that have been corrected in the meantime? I checked the GNATS database, but failed to find anything relevant for our situation.
