opera-8.51.20051114
firefox-1.5_5,1

echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH: Undefined variable.
>Description:
<User1001>: opera
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/X11R6/lib/firefox/libxpcom_core.so: Undefined symbol "__cxa_atexit"

This usually, but not always, occurs with a "Plug-in path" pop up stating that a "fatal problem occured the last time the plug-in searchy was attempted" with both "/usr/X11R6/share/opera/plugins" and "/usr/X11R6/lib/browser_plugins" checked.

Selecting OK on this pop-up always results in the Undefined symbol error.
Selecting CANCEL on this pop-up always works.

>Fix:
Workaround when pop-up occurs: select CANCEL
