Midnight Commander can delete it... A cheap, nasty way to do it if that's the longest file name in the directory: rm ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????* <use more ?'s than the longest filename in the directory, aside from the offending file> The problem is that the ?'s in the actual filename aren't really a literal "?". hopefully that'll help.
