Unless anyone has additional insights, here's my two cents: there are likely various ways to address this "area or interest".

It may be a good starting point to raise that topic during the next call and look into organizing a subgroup of people to develop this forward,
unless we manage to rally people through the mailing list.

Right now, it's mixing a few things together. It may also be helpful to=
split or focus it a bit more: right now I can identify at least four
topics (there may be more?):

=C2=A0* performance, i.e. making use of p- and e-cores
=C2=A0* power management, reducing power draw
=C2=A0* improving the scheduler to be more responsive for user-centric
=C2=A0 =C2=A0workloads
=C2=A0* suspend/resume improvements - may require clarification (may have =C2=A0 =C2=A0a strong dependency to drm-kmod, but I'm not sure about it= )

Also, there are the issues open in th= e FreeBSD Foundation repo for further investigation/work. For example:
