Understood.  I just wanted to add a positive datapoint for the thing :-)

SRM does have its positive aspects.  I think AlphaBIOS will be more
familiar for most people coming from the PC world though.  Booting from
AlphaBIOS is likely to be my next project after getting the Xserver going.
