Greeting- Has anyone else noticed that after a make install of a new kernel that the system does not want to shutdown or reboot? On every kernel install I have to send a break because the system gets into a loop trying to kill stuff, but always fails. The same happens for shutdown -h now, shutdown -p now, shutdown -r now and reboot if I have changed the kernel. -Brett -- wynkoop@wynn.com http://prd4.wynn.com/wynkoop/pgp-keys.txt 917-642-6925 718-717-5435 "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government" - Thomas Jefferson.
