These two machines have DEC cards: Jan 19 15:39:17 md kernel: le0 at 0x300-0x31f irq 5 maddr 0xd0000 msize 2048 on isa Jan 19 15:39:17 md kernel: le0: DE203-AA ethernet address 08:00:2b:37:49:9a I'm using the 941204 cpio/boot floppies and the installation was done using fpt from a server on another subnetwork without any problems. After rebooting the machines they work fine for 1-2 minutes and then the default gateway is lost and after that the interface does not work anymore and ifconfig le0 shows the OACTIVE flag is on. No "le0 device timeout" ocurs. Pedro
