That's about what chkconfig does, it just tends to be an /sbin thing for
tradition (that's where it is on IRIX I believe)

Yeah, I just looked at my code and that's what it does. So I suppose the
point is moot, but I would definetly ask the NetBSD people why they did it
maybe they have a good reason.
