You probably don't need to do this much, but ports committers do, since committing PRs is a large part of the workload of being a ports committer (some committers probably do a hundred or more per week). I also think this is a significant burden, and the net result will be that fewer contributors will be credited in the commit logs, because it's just too much of a PITA to extract their addresses.
