boot install flop, run fixit flop, fsck /dev/whereveryourrootis, mount
/dev/whereveryourrootis /mnt
vi /mnt/etc/ttys
make console insecure
reboot in single user mode
fsck /
mount -u -o rw /
vipw
reboot
