Hranicky" Sender: owner-freebsd-mobile@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Is anyone else having problems with the 2.2.5 floppy? Both the 2.2.5 PAO and the latest 2.2.5-RELEASE-SNAP give the fatal "crc error" , and the halt. My old 2.2 boot floppy and a 3.0-SNAP both work fine. System configuration: - Dell Latitude LM/133 - PS2 touchpad mouse - NeoMagic 2070 chipset (if that matters) - 16M RAM - No PC Cards installed during bootup Any help would be appreciated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Jim Hranicky, Senior SysAdmin UF/CISE Department | | E314E CSE Building Phone (904) 392-1499 | | jfh@cise.ufl.edu http://www.cis.ufl.edu/~jfh | ----------------------------------------------------------------------
