I have an old Media Vision Pro Audio Spectrum 16 which works fine for sounds but if i try to use just about any cdplayer (ie: xcdplayer) i always get "Device not configured". I tried remaking device snd0 and cd0 , maybe i am forgetting something. what are some of the steps i can do to diagnose this problem.
