Can anyone tell me if the logs on FreeBSD are rolled up and rotated on a constant basis? If so, how is this done? I installed logrotate the other night from /usr/port/sysutils but I don't want it if it is going to interfere with a native log rotation scheme built upon FreeBSD. I'm running 4.1 Stable. I don't want /var filling up with old stagnant logs. I would appreciate any information on this.
