Any thoughts welcomed Gotta love the internet. Okay, older versions of packages are in /var/cache/pkg. So for firefox the answer was remove the current version and do a 'pkg add' on and older version. In my case firefox-43.0.4_1,1 works with the version of gtk3 and firefox-47.0_1,1 does not.
