Hi, First try a kernel with NEW_STRATEGY undefed in i386/include/samptests.h. If that fails uncomment the SMP_TIMER_NC define as well. Boot verbose and look for all "SMP" andd "APIC_IO" comments in the boot mesg. -- Steve Passe | powered by smp@csn.net | Symmetric MultiProcessor FreeBSD
