using dmesg :-
ahc0: <Adaptec 2940 Ultra2 SCSI adapter> rev 0x00 int a irq 10 on pci0.9.0
ahc0: aic7890/91 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 16/255 SCBs

Could anyone help me or tell me what to do ? I have unplug all cable and
reconnect it properly to my only SCSI harddrive, and make sure all
connection and cable is OK. I'm wondering if this is caused by aic7xxx (as I
found the similar problem from some newsgroups) and would it be solved if I
change to Tekram SCSI adapter ?

Your fast reply will be appreciated. Thank you very much.

regards,
TTJ
