Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hello I have successfully installed 4.2R on my laptop with a Xircom PC-card ethernet. It works fine except an inconvinience. The Xircom wakes up rather late, after the startup script has tried to start ssh, apache and netatalk. They all fail because there is no interface to bind to. Now I start them by hand after logging in. How could I get the script to wait for pccardd to detect and install the card? Is there a clean, orthodox way or some brute force approach?
